Copenhagen Beach Party!

This weekend was the annual FREE Copenhagen Beach Party. On Friday it rained all day so instead of going to the beach a couple of my friends went to the Danish Museum of Art and Design. It was kind of weird but it was free entrance so we were glad we went :). On the way back I was trying to convince everyone to go out but they were really tired from the night before (VIP party). Luckily, everyone napped (except me) and I was able to get everyone out. We decided to go to the beach party at night because, typical Copenhagen, it got gorgeous out at about 6pm.  The beach party was ridiculous. We got there and saw how far it was from the metro station and were not pleased, but the walk was WELL worth it. It was basically a huge techno rave. Everyone was dancing and having an amazing time. It was so much fun but it ended at 12. After that, we all planned to go out again but instead, Jenny and I feasted on some grilled sandwiches that I fixed up and went to bed.

Beach Party Friday Night!

Saturday we went back to the beach for the day. We brought towels and sunscreen (!!) and laid out all day in the gorgeous CPH sun. There was a DJ on the beach and it was packed. Everyone was playing volleyball around our area (I got hit a couple times...). It was such a beautiful day and we had a really great time laying out and hanging out. We also took a nice walk down the beach. After we left we planned to go back for the night expecting what the night before was (a really fun techno rave). Unfortunately when we got back it was too many creepy men/people to enjoy ourselves. We left early (only the girls, the boys stayed) and went to bed.

Today we have a picnic in Dyrehaven which is the location of the world's oldest amusement park, Bakken! Should be fun.

PS some funny facts:
The biggest crime in Copenhagen is bicycle theft (it's so safe here...)
CPH is the 3rd most expensive city in Europe (sorry parents!)
Wine can be cheaper than water (alcoholics?)
