True Life: I Learned Danish Folk Dancing...

Wednesday is one of my many days off, so I wanted to go to the beach. I am lucky to have friends who are happy to skip class (sorry parents), so we all went to the gorgeous Amager Strand beach and relaxed in the HOT sun - yes, it's nice weather here in Copenhagen, take that weather predictions! The water was freezing, though, and I couldn't get myself in more than an inch. Danna and Laura were crazy and went all the way in. After that, Laura spontaneously said "I want to go shopping" and since our lives here are so amazing, we just got up and went to the mall! There is a huge shopping mall next to Strøget street that is apparently one of the biggest in the world! It was really fun even though we were all gross and (Mom, be proud) lotion-y from the beach. We then went on to Strøget and got delicious sandwiches to go. We ate them sitting on a fountain in the middle of a big square with people playing music everywhere. It was like a movie...And then, of course, nutella banana crepes to finish it off!

 Denmark loves it's windmills

That night we went out to LA Bar which was really fun and crowded.

On Thursday I had class (n) and then I met Laura at another mall because why not? At 6:00 we started pregaming for a Danish Folk Dancing activity which was bound to be hilarious. It was, but I couldn't stay that long because I was hot and it was, honestly, hilariously weird. We then pregamed (again) for a VIP Party at this ridiculously trendy and fancy nightclub called Karel. It was soo fun and so over the top. The bathroom had huge couches, really cool sinks, closets full of makeup for some sort of emergency, and was basically just a lounge.

 Serious Danish Folk Dancing!

Love the park next to my dorm

Today is a rainy day so my friends and I are planning to go to a museum :)
