Girly Days...Shopping, Parks, Picnic and Art!

On Monday I went hardcore shopping on Strøget Street, the main shopping street in Copenhagen.  I have gone shopping there a few times but this was some serious shopping. Morgan, Danna and I went into soo many stores and each came out with a couple of souvenirs :). I got the most beautiful shoes EVER and they are at least 5 or 6 inches. <3. At 6:30 we met up with Jenny, Taryn and Laura for dinner at a place called Cocks and Cows. It is supposed to be really good with all natural meat, or something like that. It definitely lived up to it's reputation. I shared a chicken burger and a meat burger with Jenny and we all shared onion rings, french fries and curly fries. YUMMY dinner.

mmmm

Monday night we attempted to go out and had a really good time pregaming, wandering the streets, and having the typical late night feast (nutella banana grilled sandwiches made by Danna). We didn't ever find a place that was "raging" for a Monday night but we had a really good time together!

On Tuesday I handed in that awful paper (yes, I finished it!) and then sat through a dreadful class. At 5:30 I met up with the same girls (Danna, Morgan, Jenny, Laura and Taryn) and we had a picnic in the Frederiksberg Park. It is right next door to my dorm and we go there a lot. It was soo beautiful out and the perfect weather, location, and food for a picnic. Danna and I did some yoga after, and I did my first headstand (woohoo) while everyone else laughed at me for my odd techniques.

 Gotta love the elephants!

Tuesday night we stayed in for the first time in a while...

Wednesday, I woke up early (10am...) and Danna, Lisa (roommate), Mona and I went to the Louisiana Museum of Modern Art. It is an hour train ride away so Mona drove us (she is from Germany and has her car) and it was so beautiful to see the country of Denmark. The houses are gorgeous and every beach I have been to has been so pretty, this one included. The museum was so cool - it was definitely one of my favorites EVER. It was sort of interactive, there were things you could climb on and touch and some really mind-blowing works of art. I loved it. There was also a beautiful outdoor area to sit and eat, play (kids rolling down the hill) or look at a few sculptures. In the distance we could see Sweden.

Really cool light structure that lit up with your movements

Unbelievable room full of lights, mirrors, and water

Speaking of Sweden, I will be there in 24 hours!!! Flight to Stockholm at 9:20am Friday. Can't wait!
